There's something really comforting about apple pies and tarts. Most people really enjoy them and they make a great dessert for both family and friends.
We have put together an apple tart recipe that is truly glorious. The addition of a homemade frangipane makes this dish rather special, every mouthful is full of flavour.
We finished it off with a glaze of our award winning apricot jam to make it even more special.

Our orange harvesting is at full tilt and we are busy making lots of our delicious award winning marmalade. Perfect for sandwiches, as enjoyed by a particular bear from Peru, it also makes a great ingredient in dishes both sweet and savoury. This dessert is a bit different but if you like ginger it is quite delicious. This Ginger Cheesecake does not require baking and even better you can make it while doing other things as it needs to be popped into the fridge at various stages.
We have used our Ginger Biscuits to make the base as this gives a warm note to the overall ginger hit. Our biscuits are made by hand in small batches and baked slowly to give a lovely crunch.
