Cranberry, Brie & Walnut Tart




  • 320g (11 oz) ready made puff pastry
  • 227g (8 oz) brie, sliced
  • 1 egg, for an egg wash
  • 4-6 tablespoons Roots & Wings Organic Cranberry Sauce & Orange Spices
  • 100g (3 ½ oz ) walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey


Heat the oven to 200ºC fan/392 F/ Gas 7. Line a large oven tray with parchment paper. Roll out the pastry into a rectangle approximately 25 cm x 32 cm (10 inches x 12 inches). Fold about 1.5cm (1/2 inch) of the edges of pastry inwards and then crimp. Using a fork prick the pastry all over.

Spoon the Cranberry Sauce over the base of the pastry, scatter the rosemary and lay the Brie on top. Finally sprinkle on the walnuts. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the pastry is golden brown. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
