Steak with Himalayan Rose Pink Salt

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 x 220g/8oz sirloin steak
  • Roots & Wings Himalayan Rose Pink Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Preheat your grill
Heat a frying pan that can go under the grill over a high heat. Put the steak on its fatty side in the pan and hold it there for a few seconds. This will brown the fat and melt some of it into the frying pan.
When the fat is brown, put the steak on its side. Season with some Himalayan Pink Salt and a grinding of black pepper then remove from the hob and put under the grill for 2 minutes on each side for a rare steak, 3 minutes for medium and 4 minutes for well done.
Leave the steak to rest in a warm place for a few minutes then serve.
