Tomato Raita

 

Ingredients

  • One tomato, finely chopped
  • ½ a red onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • ½ green chilli 
  • 125g (4 ½ oz) plain yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • A pinch of Roots & Wings Kala Namak Black Salt
  • Black pepper
  • A pinch of ground cumin

Method:

Remove the seeds from the chilli and then chop the chilli finely. Put the yoghurt in a small bowl and beat it with a fork. Add finely chopped tomato, onion, green chilli, and coriander leaves to the yoghurt and mix well. Add the Roots & Wings Kala Namak Black Salt and the sugar and grind some black pepper over to taste. Mix well. Sprinkle ground cumin on top before serving.
