Raita

 

Ingredients:

  • 235g (8oz) plain yoghurt
  • 150g (5 oz) cucumber, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Roots & Wings Kala Namak Black Salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons mint leaves, chopped
  • Roots & Wings Coarse Sea Salt, to taste (optional)

Method:

Put the yoghurt into a bowl and add the black pepper, chilli powder, kala namak black salt and the cumin powder. Mix thoroughly then add the grated cucumber. Mix again then add half the mint and stir in. Use the remaining as garnish.
Add some Roots & Wings Coarse Sea Salt if needed.
