Pear & Apple Baked with Marmalade



  • 2 pears, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and quartered
  • Juice of a lemon
  • Zest of an orange
  • 125g (4 oz) Roots & Wings Organic Seville Orange Marmalade
  • 11/2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 2 tablespoons sherry


Preheat the oven to 180C/356F/Gas 4.

 Place the pears and apples in an oven proof dish, spaced apart. Sprinkle over the orange zest.

Mix the marmalade with the golden syrup and the sherry and pour over the fruit.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, basting occasionally. After 30 minutes remove from the oven.

Serve warm with a dollop of cream.
