Jam Filled Muffins




  • 300g (10 oz) plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 150g (5 oz) sugar
  • 50g (2 oz) butter
  • 225ml (8 fl oz) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 10 teaspoons Roots & Wings Organic Strawberry Jam
  • 10 muffin cases or parchment paper



Pre-heat the oven to 200C/ 392F Gas 6. Put 10 muffin cases into a bun baking tray or use folded parchment paper.
In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, caster sugar, butter, milk and egg. Spoon the mixture into a muffin cases to the half way point then add a teaspoon of Roots & Wings Organic Strawberry Jam. Spoon more mixture on top and repeat until all the muffin cases are filled.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the muffins are risen and golden. Cool on a wire rack.
