Cute Crab Croissant





  • 1 croissant
  • 1/4 banana
  • 2 strawberries
  • 2 blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon of Velvety & Fully Flavoured Roots & Wings Organic Apricot Jam
  • 4 toothpicks


Before you start off, we recommend an adult cuts the croissant in half trying not to cut all the way through. Then with your helper, spread the inside liberally with Apricot Jam.

Next, to make the eyes, peel the banana, cut 2 thick rings and put each slice onto a toothpick. Then with the next two toothpicks, pierce a blueberry onto the top of each one. To make the claws, slice a strawberry in half and then cut a little triangle into the narrowest part of the halved strawberry. To make the tongue, slice the strawberry into 3 and set aside the middle piece and nibble the fruit off-cuts!

And finally, to assemble the crab, put the croissant onto a plate. To create the eyes push the banana topped tooth picks into the top of the croissant, and then the blueberry sticks just in front. To make the mouth, use a blunt knife, or scissors cut a little space for the tongue and pop the strawberry slice in. And finally to assemble the claws just pop the strawberry pincers down.
